It is Proposed to Unify Process of Adopting Strategies Envisaged by Legal Acts
1 / 2

The process of developing and adopting strategies envisaged by legal acts is defined in a non-uniform way, as there are no special legal regulations on the adoption of already developed strategic acts. Taking into account the fact that while adopting strategies in practice, problems arise related to the authorizing norm, in order to avoid sectoral solutions, as well as due to the need for general regulation, a draft has been elaborated, which proposes to establish one united order.

Therefore, the Government proposes to make an addendum to the law and set a general provision in the draft, according to which, the process of adopting strategies envisaged by legal acts will be unified, and the Government, which carries out the general management of the bodies of the state administration system, in accordance with its program, will adopt relevant sectoral strategies and action plans to ensure their implementation.

The Deputy Minister of Justice Yeranuhi Tumanyants presented the proposed addendum and the purpose of the regulation at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The co-rapporteur, the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vahagn Hovakimyan emphasized that the draft solves a technical problem. The legal regulations are clarified.

The debated bill was endorsed.

The Committee debated in the second reading and endorsed the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin, on Enactment of the RA Criminal Code, on Amending the Law on Penitentiary Service and the package of a number of draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Judicial Code and a number of related ones.
