On July 22, the Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan received the Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs David McAllister and the Delegation led by him arrived in Armenia on regional visit.
The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Eduard Aghajanyan and the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan attended the meeting.
Ruben Rubinyan presented the regional situation, voiced the position of the Armenian side on the peaceful solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
According to the NA Vice President, the continuous provocative actions and the expansionist announcements of the Azerbaijani side disrupt the efforts aimed at the establishment of regional stability and peace.
At the guests’ request, Ruben Rubinyan presented the developments in the normalization process of Armenia-Turkey relations and the agreements reached during the last meeting.
