Class-Meeting with RA NA President Related to Professional Orientation and Political Life

On August 23, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan held a class-meeting with the students participating in the Summer School programme of the National Assembly on the topic The character of a politician.

During the class held in an interactive environment, Alen Simonyan referred to textbook and real examples typical of famous political figures, which received a positive assessment and which were rejected. When talking about the issues related to professional orientation, most of the students considered the professions of lawyer, economist and political scientist to be preferable in the future. The core of the answer to their numerous questions was mainly to acquire as much knowledge as possible during the school years, which plays a big role in forming a person and a specialist.

At the request of the students, the RA NA President referred to the competent approaches to political debate and the successful and failed examples of popular debates of political thought in recent years. Speaking about the general features of the characters remembered in the political field, the students expressed their sympathy for the politicians who express themselves in a language understandable to the citizens and who have winged and figurative speech.

The students asked Alen Simonyan for advice on choosing books.
