Armenia-France inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation are at a high level. The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Armenia-France Vladimir Vardanyan noted about this during the meeting with Christophe Katsahian, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of France to Armenia, on August 31.

Emphasizing Armenia’s traditional friendly ties with the French Parliament, Vladimir Vardanyan noted that he greatly appreciates the activity of the friendship group, as well as the continuous strengthening of cooperation in the parliamentary format.

Vladimir Vardanyan expressed hope that the formation of the Friendship Group France-Armenia in the French National Assembly will give new momentum to the Armenian-French inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Christophe Katsahian also presented information on the formation of the newly elected French National Assembly.

The sides emphasized the importance of bilateral meetings, referred to the activities of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, the Parliamentary Friendship Group Armenia-France, as well as the work of the Committee on Constitutional Reforms.
