The written consent will be a necessary condition during medical intervention for the cases determined by the authorized body. The NA Standing Committee on Health Care debated in the second reading and endorsed the proposed addendum to the Law on Medical Aid and Service for Population at the sitting on October 21. No amendments were made to the draft law between the period of the first to the second reading, the executive body did not present proposals. The authors of the bill are the deputies of the NA Civil Contract Faction Narek Zeynalyan and Emma Palyan.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Medical Aid and Service for Population authored by the deputies of the NA Civil Contract Faction Narek Zeynalyan and Emma Palyan was also debated in the second reading. After its full adoption, the law will enter into force on January 1, 2023. The Government presented two proposals, which were not accepted by the authors.

The vote on the draft was postponed for up two months. The draft will be further debated if necessary.
