Sergey Bagratyan’s Question to Deputy Prime Minister: Isn’t it possible to transit Iranian gas to Europe through Georgia, becoming a serious hub?
1 / 2

Referring to the problems of the North-South road during the NA-Government Q&A session, the NA deputy Sergey Bagratyan noted that the Iranian capital has been involved in the Syunik sector. He inquired whether it is not possible to transit the Iranian gas to Europe through Georgia, becoming a serious hub.

Answering the MP’s question, the RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan noted that it needs to be studied. According to him, it is necessary to understand what reserves are available, what gas pipelines transportation costs are assumed and what volume of investments is needed in order to have that volume of gas in our south and in their north.
