It is proposed to extend providing state assistance in the form of the tax privilege for 1 more year until including December 31, 2023. The Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Davit Sahakyan, presenting the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addendum to the law on State Assistance of the Sphere of Information Technologies and on Amending the RA Tax Code authored by the Government.

The newly creating, beginner economic entities of the sphere of information technologies by the law entered into force in 2015 tax privileges are provided, particularly by applying 0 percent rate of the profit tax and 10 percent rate of the income tax.

Taking into consideration the priorities of the development of the sphere and the necessity of showing state assistance to the sphere at the given moment, the Ministry will present for debate new assistance programs.

The draft was debated at the NA extraordinary sitting in the first reading on December 9.
