Exhibition in National Assembly

On May 24 on the initiative of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Youth a young artist, the member of Artist’s Union Arevik Petrosyan’s personal exhibition, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Independence, was opened where the MPs, art critics, journalists participated.

As Hranush Hakobyan, Chairwoman of the Standing Committee assessed, there is an interesting mystery in the young artist’s works. “Scarlet tulips portrayed on the organic glass symbolize the struggle, victory and independence of our country, the flowers of peace follow to it, then silence reigns. Woman’s character is also presented in her works, which symbolizes the life,” this is how the young artist’s works presented Mrs. Hakobyan.

Vahan Hovhannisyan , NA Vice President, considering this style close to him, noted that it shows that there are new directions in painting, which should be discovered. According to Mr. Hovhannisyan, the exhibition gave an opportunity to see our country in brighter tones.

Hermine Naghdalyan wished the young artist to win big exhibitions. She thanked Arevik Petrosyan for being ready to dedicate her warm-heartedness to the others.
