Though the law on volunteer military is in force, nevertheless, the Ministry of Defense has revised a new concept on territorial and local defense, from which new legal acts will stem: Suren Papikyan noted, touching upon Sergey Bagratyan’s question about the works being done and being envisaged on the volunteer military during the NA-Government Q&A session.

All details and directions will be discussed in parliament in the near future, but before that the Minister assured that the Government does its best, in order the reserve force will get ready through training gatherings, will be integrated to the parts, where if necessary, it will carry out the defense of the country and will defend the territorial integrity.
