At June 5 sitting, the NA Standing on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport debated the legislative package on Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Pre-School Education and on Amending the HO-267-N law of May 6, 2020 on Amending the law on Pre-School Education.

It is expected by the adoption of the initiative to regulate the issues regarding the organization of the education for children needing education and development with special conditions at pre-school education degree, as well as providing pedagogical-psychological support services. Taking into consideration the fact of being different the number of pedagogical employees conditioned by the number of the groups and positions of pre-school educational institutions, it is proposed also to specify the fact of compulsory training once in a five year. It is also designed to create equal conditions in tenure of the directors of the community pre-school educational i9nstitutions. According to the implemented analysis, about 65% of the directors is in office on the basis of contracts signed with indefinite term, which creates unequal conditions in the field.

It is also proposed to remove the demand of compulsory training preceding the receipt of the certificate of the right to heading the pre-school educational institution.

The Committee endorsed the draft.

The debate of the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Cinematography authored by the deputies of the NA Civil Contract Faction Sisak Gabrielyan and Taguhi Ghazaryan was postponed up to two months for revising it.
