Arman Yeghoyan meets with ASUE Armenian and foreign students

On June 8, the deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Arman Yeghoyan hosted the Armenian and foreign students and lecturers of the Faculty of Regulation of Economy and International Economic Relations of the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), who visited the parliament.

The MP presented the work of parliament, afterwards touched upon the RA-EU relations, particularly the relations formed with the organization within the framework of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The meeting continued in Q&A session.

The foreign students inquired about the concepts of the position of the Republic of Armenia on the existing situation in the world today and the regional policy and its role and influence in the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Arman Yeghoyan noted that in any situation the position of the Republic of Armenia is inclined to spreading peace and expressed hope that in the coming years the picture in the region and in the world will change.

The guests addressed questions to the MP about the involvement of different countries in the sphere of the mediatory activity on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

The young economists were also interested in the import and export data of the goods from the European Union and the further forecasts on it. They also shared their viewpoints on the impact of those relations of the economy of the Republic of Armenia and listened to the MP’s viewpoints.

The students from Artsakh were concerned about the problems regarding the students’ movements from Yerevan to Stepanakert because of closing the Lachin Corridor. Arman Yeghoyan expressed readiness to support the students as much as possible in the solution of the students’ problems caused because of that.

The MP welcomed the students’ activeness and urged them to show professional involvement later also in the implementation of the policy of their country.

The students were also in the Museum and library of the National Assembly in the framework of the cognitive visit.
