At June 14 extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection the package of draft laws on Making Addenda to the Law on State Control of Food Safety and on Making Addenda to the Law on Phytosanitary authored by the Government was debated in the second reading.

Additional regulations for managing with modern mechanisms the import procedures of agrochemicals and pesticides will be established with the legislative initiative.

The draft was endorsed.
