On June 15, the parliament continued the debate of the issue of the election of the member of the RA Competition Protection Commission. The factions of With Honor and Armenia factions nominated Anahit Sargsyan as an agreed candidate for being elected in that position.

The factions of the NA With Honor, Armenia and the Civil Contract expressed their positions related to the issue.

In her final speech Ananhit Sargsyan touched upon the speeches of the deputies of ruling faction, noting that if she won’t be elected, then there will be two vacancies in the RA Competition Protection Commission.

The Chairman of the NA Accounting Committee Narek Babayan informed that the time for holding voting was covered, and the legislation does not allow to add time and hold voting. Therefore, the voting will be held at one of the coming extraordinary sittings.
