It is proposed by the initiative to set a provision in the law, in accordance with which, the Government defines the examination procedure of controlled goods and non-material value by legislative initiative. The draft law on Making and Amendment and Addenda to the law on Control toward the Export of Goods of Double Importance, Their Transit Transportation through the Territory of the Republic of Armenia, as well as Information of Double Importance and Transfer of Mental Activity Results was debated in the first reading at September 5 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.

According to the key rapporteur, the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, the mentioned provisions will be an authorizing legislative norm for the implementation of relevant processes.

It was also noted that the activities of the bodies providing examination conclusion in the sphere of the export of goods of double importance, their transit transportation through the territory of the Republic of Armenia, as well as information of double importance and transfer of mental activity results will be more improved by adopting the proposing legal regulations.

As a result of debate the draft law was endorsed.
