We know how much the Armenian people suffered in recent period. We have come to Armenia to express the solidarity of the citizens of France and the European Parliament to your people, as well as to say that we don’t forget Armenia: The Member of the European Parliament Geoffroy Didier said this during the meeting with the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan and the Committee member Arsen Torosyan held in the parliament on December 5.

Welcoming the guest, Arman Yeghoyan valued the Armenian-French inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as highly appreciated the permanent support of France to Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed issues regarding the deepening of bilateral cooperation within the RA-EU framework. The Armenian parliamentarians talked about the liberalisation process of the EU entry visas for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.

Touching upon the efforts of the Armenian side for the establishment of peace and stability in the region, Arman Yeghoyan and Arsen Torosyan introduced the Crossroads of Peace project presented by the RA Government to the guest.
