At regular sitting of parliament results of secret ballot held on the previous day presented

On December 6, at the regular sitting of the National Assembly the Chairman of the NA Counting Commission Narek Babayan presented the results of the secret ballot of electing candidate for the judge of the judiciary of the corruption crimes’ examination of the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the Court of Cassation.

It was noted that the Supreme Judicial Council nominated candidates Sergey Marabyan, Rubik Mkhitaryan and Manvel Shahverdyan in this position. According to Narek Babayan, The NA 68 deputies out of 107 took part in the voting. There were 68 ballot papers in the ballot box, there were no invalid ballot papers. 68 deputies voted for Sergey Marabyan’s candidacy, Rubik Mkhitaryan and Manvel Shahverdyan did not receive any votes.

The NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Sport proposed to the National Assembly for the vacant positions of the Commission on Television and Radio the candidacies of Hasmik Hakobyan and Nune Hakhverdyan nominated by the RA NA Civil Contract Faction.

The NA 69 deputies out of 107 took part in the voting. There were no invalid ballot papers. The votes were distributed in the following way: 68 deputies voted for Hasmik Hakobyan’s candidacy, 1 deputy was against her. The votes for Nune Hakhverdyan were also distributed in the same way.

The NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs proposed Hakob Mihranyan’s candidacy in the vacant position of the member of the Audit Chamber.

69 NA deputies out of 107 took part in the voting. There were no invalid ballot papers. The votes were distributed in the following way: 69 – for, 0 - against.

The deputies congratulated the newly elected members.
