1 / 2

The mentioned interrelated drafts are aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the analyses underlying the remuneration policy: The Head of the Civil Service Bureau of the Prime Minister’s Office Vache Qalashyan said this, presenting the legislative package on Making Amendments to the Law on Public Service and on Making Addenda and Amendment to the Law on Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions in the first reading for debate.

It is expected that as a result of the adoption of the package, the personal dossiers of persons performing civil work and technical service in state and local self-government bodies will be conducted electronically.

In addition, the information on civil servants necessary for the analysis of the labor market by professions and territories will be obtained from the relevant accounting programmes, which will reduce the possibility of presenting wrong information, as well as exclude double work by the civil servants.

Karen Sarukhanyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs regarding the package.

The issue was debated at the sitting of the National Assembly on May 22.
