The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan delivered the final speech on the 2023 state budget execution report at the NA sitting on June 13.

The Prime Minister first referred to the events that took place the previous day in Baghramyan Avenue, noting that the participants of the movement led by the Catholicos of All Armenians and the former President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan attacked the policemen. “The reaction of the police was legitimate and professional and in all similar cases the police will act in the same way,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

The Head of the Government underscored that the instigators of the mass riots should be brought to justice.

The Prime Minister touched upon the claims made in the speeches of the opposition MPs during the debates of the 2023 budget execution report, and gave clarifications.
