On October 1 the sitting of the National Assembly began with the approval of the agendas of the session and four-day sittings, after which the MPs debated the drafts included in the four-day sittings agenda.
The bill on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Profit Tax was debated.
The view of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, which presented Mr. Ara Nranyan, member of the committee, was positive.
According to Mrs. Larisa Alaverdyan the Heritage faction welcomes the idea proposed in the draft, but the given formulations don’t indicate real, precise forms of the settlement of this sphere. Mrs. Alaverdyan told that if the formulation would not be specified before the second reading the faction would vote against the bill.
The view of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on the bill on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Providing the Bowels in order to operate the Useful Minerals for Studying and Mining was positive.
The amendments proposed to the RA laws on Value Added Tax, on Taxes, on Organization and Carrying out the checks in the RA and on Compulsory Social Security Payments aim to define by the law the positions related to the researches with the purpose of the provision of the constitutional requirement.
Mr. Ayvazyan said that the committee will present all its proposals in written form and expressed a hope that the government will improve the law before the second reading.
The MPs also debated the package of the bills presented in the second reading, authorized by Mrs. Hakobyan and Mr. Karen Karapetyan on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Higher and Post-Graduate Professional Education and on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Education.
On October 2 the National Assembly will continue the work of four-day sittings.
