Mr. Armen Ashotyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport; Ms. Naira Zohrabyan, Chair of the Committee and Mr. Karen Avagyan met the following students from the Department of Mathematics at YSU, Levon Nurbekyan, Davit Karagulyan, Karen Keryan, Rafael Barkhudaryan, Vardan Voskanyan, Armen Nurbekyan, Anush Martirosyan and Vardan Verdiyan, who all recently took part in Students International, Scientific Olympiads, held in Israel, Iran and Bulgaria and were awarded first and second prizes in Mathematics.

Mr. Armen Ashotyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee congratulated the students for the prizes, which they won and thanked for the honor that they brought for our country and educational system.

He expressed hope that after graduating from the University, the students will get a relevant job and will deal with science. Mr. Armen Ashotyan said that the students could turn to the National Assembly if there is a necessity and expect promotion as far as it is possible.

At the end of the meeting the students were given souvenirs.
