On May 19 the President of the National Assembly Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan met with the President of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh Mr. Bako Sahakyan.

Greeting the head of Artsakh in the Armenian Parliament Mr. Abrahamyan noted that during recent period the relations between the legislators of Armenia and Artsakh had been enlivened. In that context he highlighted the parliamentary cooperation, organization of mutual visits and the development of direct ties of specialized committees. The President of the National Assembly expressed his confidence that this cooperation will promote the establishment of independent structures of Artsakh.

Afterwards the interlocutors had a tête-à-tête talk, during which issues of the settlement of Artsakh problem, as well as issues regarding the cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh were discussed.
