On September 22 Armenia-France Parliamentary Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia met the delegation led by the Mayor of Ville D’Arnouville-les-Gonesse Mr. Michel Aumas. Head of the Friendship Group Mr. Ara Babloyan, members of the group Mr. Galust Sahakyan and Mrs. Zaruhi Postanjyan took part in the meeting.

Mr. Babloyan spoke about the centuries long friendship and cooperation of the two peoples, noted with gratitude that France always supported and helped Armenia in difficult moments.

Mayor of the French city Arnouville-le-Gones Mr. Michel Aumas highly assessed the role of the French Armenian community in the political, economic and cultural life. He said that Armenian churches act in their city, and 2 years ago an Armenian-French school was opened after Hrant Dink.

During the meeting issues regarding the development of bilateral relations, Armenian-Turkish relations and settlement of the Karabakh problem were discussed.
