On April 1 the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Arevik Petrosyan received the delegation led by the senior economist of the public sector of the institutional reform cluster poverty reduction and economic management of the World Bank K. Migara O. De Silva.

Mrs. Petrosyan congratulated Mr. Migara De Silva on assuming the post of the head of the World Bank Mission and wished him effective cooperation. The Vice Speaker of RA National Assembly also thanked for showing support in the sphere of the specialized and technical capabilities development, for accepting the proposals of the National Assembly by the World Bank, as a result of which monetary grant program had been approved, and concrete proposals of technical assistance were included in the second credit program of RA public sector of the reforms.

Mr. K. Migara De Silva expressed satisfaction aimed at legislative institutional reforms and capabilities development for the initiative and proposals of the National Assembly, qualifying them necessary and substantiated.

In the course of the meeting the sides discussed details providing the implementation of the events envisaged by monetary grant and credit programs.
