The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan sent a message of condolence to the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Representatives of the People’s Republic of China Wu Bangguo.

The message says: “I learnt with deep grief of the disastrous earthquake, which took place in the Qinghai p rovince. In the name of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and in my name I send our deep condolences and consolation to the victims’ families and relatives. I am sure that the people of China will find strength and determination to restore the damage caused from the natural disaster amd speedily eliminate its consequences.”
