On September 23 the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood Ara Babloyan met with the Chairperson of the NKR NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs Zoya Nazaryan. The Adviser to NKR NA President, the representative of NKR NA representative in RA NA Karen Topchyan took part in the meeting.
During the meeting the chairpersons of the committees of the two countries discussed a number of issues, laws and legislative initiatives of mutual interest.
The chairpersons of the committees emphasized the rapprochement of cooperation in the legislative field and the expediency of exchange of experience.
The interlocutors touched upon the issues of HIV/AIDS, prevention of hepatitis C: in relation to this the rise of the awareness of the population was emphasized, the holding of the surveys in the institutions of the source of infection was emphasized.
