On October 23 the President of RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan received the deputies of the European Parliament, Vice President of Euronest PA, Rapporteur on the Black Sea Region Trajan Ungureanu, Shadow Rapporteur on Armenia Andrey Kovachev and Honourable Consul of the Republic of Armenia to Luxembourg Frank Engel, who represented the European People’s Party (EPP).
Hovik Abrahamyan with satisfaction noted the results of the visit of the Armenian delegation to Brussels in July and documented that it was very effective.
The President of the National Assembly noted that Armenia welcomed the idea of Euronest and was concerned about its establishment.
Trajan Ungureanu thanked for the constructive position of the President of RA National Assembly in Brussels and noted that they assessed Armenia’s efforts in the establishment of Euronest.
The interlocutors emphasized the development of the parliamentary relations, noting that the start of Euronest PA would boost that cooperation.
