The National Assembly at its last sitting of the extraordinary session on December 22 by voting passed all the legislative initiatives, which were debated on the previous day.
The parliament debated and completely passed the draft laws On Inner Audit and On Amending the law On Treasury System, as well as the package of the bill On Order of Glory and the accompanying bills.
The Minister of Natural Protection Aram Harutyunyan proposed the deputies to make an addendum to the law On the Expertise of the Influence of the Environment, passing it in the second reading. It became clear from the speeches that the deputies from the ARF and the Heritage had negative attitude towards the initiative even after the amendments were made. As a result of voting the draft law did not get necessary number of votes.
The parliament ended the work of the extraordinary session. Closing the extraordinary session at the end of the year the Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan congratulated everybody on the upcoming New Year and Christmas and wished them success.
