Students of the Base College of Gyumri Branch of Armenian State University of Economy Hosted in the National Assembly

On April 13 the students of the Base College of Gyumri Branch of Armenian State University of Economy were hosted in RA National Assembly. Within the framework of the NA Open Lesson they attended the sitting of the parliament, to which followed the meeting of the Gyumri students with the Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan.

The NA Speaker gave information about the structure of the parliament, as well as touched upon a number of issues concerning the inner life and foreign policy.

The students of the Base College in the intimate atmosphere addressed their questions to the head of the parliament. The question and answer session with the NA Speaker turned into sincere talk, in which the NA Vice Speaker Samvel Balasanyan, the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan, the member of the NA Heritage faction Anahit Bakhshyan, the teachers of the college also took part. They especially had lively discussion over the united examination tests and assessment system. NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the justice and impartiality in the examination system, at the same time, urged to effectively use the education years and obtained substantial knowledge, which will give opportunity to find worthy place in the life.

The NA Speaker promised to visit the Base College of Gyumri Branch of Armenian State University of Economy and again meet with the students.
