Committee Debates Agreements

The Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly at April 15 sitting debated five international financial agreements, which are included in the agenda of the extraordinary sitting.

By the agreement Program of the Creation of Rural Capabilities, which was signed between the Republic of Armenia and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) 8mln 900.000 sum of money equivalent to the Special Drawing Right (SDR), which is about 13mln USD with privileged conditions, will be allocated.

The agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and International Development Association on the Second Program of the Development Policy is of social importance and envisages to allocate 13mln 400.000 SDR for the expenditures in this sphere. The price of the same program with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development is 4mln USD.

The credit agreement Additional Financing APL-2 of the Upgrading Program of the Health System signed with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development envisages having credit worth 19mln USD some services of the sphere.

The next agreement, Innovation Program for Power-Society and Competition, signed between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development is worth 24mln USD.

The Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the parliament guaranteed to include the five agreements with endorsement in the agenda of the extraordinary sitting.
