On November 7 Artak Davtyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, met a group of members of the young parliamentarians of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Georgia.
During the warm and open talk the Georgian youngsters, who are in Armenia at the Armenian colleagues’ invitation, presented to Artak Davtyan the goal of the creation of the Youth Parliament of Georgia, its activity and perspectives.
It was mentioned in particular that the Armenian and Georgian youngsters are determined to develop the ties and possible cooperation between the young people of the two countries, exchange the information and experience in different spheres, develop the political culture, and come up with joint programmes of common interest.
The Armenian and Georgian youngsters expect the support of the deputies with greater experience in the politics for the fulfillment of these goals, which, as Artak Davtyan ensured, would not make us wait.
At the end of the meeting the Armenian and Georgian parliamentarians signed a Memorandum on Cooperation, which as Harutiun Azgaldyan, Chair of the Youth Parliament of Armenia has noted, is the launch of the real cooperation.
