On April 24 RA President Serzh Sargsyan, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II, Speaker of the National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan, NA deputies, other officials, high-ranking military, clergymen, foreign diplomats accredited in Armenia and guests visited Tsitsernakaberd and laid flowers at the Memorial of the 1915 Armenian Genocide victims, honored in silence the memory of the innocent martyrs.

The Supreme Patriarch held a Repose of Souls service.

The leadership of the republic also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
