On September 7 the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Latvia to Armenia Gints Apals.

The Ambassador conveyed the official letter of the President of the Latvian Parliament to the NA President, where he had congratulated Hovik Abrahamyan on being reelected NA President and reaffirmed his invitation to visit Latvia on official visit.

In the course of the meeting the interlocutors highlighted the further development of the Armenian-Latvian relations, the activation of the inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation in international organizations. The sides touched upon other issues of bilateral interest.
