On November 22 in Tavricheskiy Palace of Saint Petersburg with the participation of the heads of the parliaments of the CSTO member states and secretaries of the security councils the session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council, where from the Armenian side were taking part the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan and the Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan. The CSTO PA Chairman, Speaker of the RF State Duma Sergey Narishkin delivered a speech on cooperation of the CSTO PA and the Committee of the Security Councils’ Secretaries in solving the problems providing collective security to the CSTO member states.
The CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha gave speeches on the agenda item: on the CSTO current activity and preparatory works of the CSTO 2012 December session, consequences of withdrawal of coalition forces from Afghanistan, on the legislative and organizational means of strengthening of security system in case of possible escalation of the situation.
The secretaries of the Security Councils of the participant member-states took part in the exchange of thoughts and presented their views over the issues under debate.
