Meeting in the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations

On February 6 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan met with the members of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Youth Parliament (YP) adjunct to the RA NA Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Youth and Sport.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting Artak Zakaryan congratulated their entrance to the Youth Parliament. The Committee Chairman was interested in the works and problems of the committee from the members of the Youth Parliament. He also proposed the young parliamentarians to take part in the sittings of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, as well as present proposals, which would be debated.

Artak Zakaryan presented to the YP members the main functions, in which the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations was involved: bilateral relations with the parliaments of different countries, work with the international parliamentary organizations, debate of international treaties and organization of hearings.

Artak Zakaryan gave advice to the youth how to enliven the relations with young MPs of different countries.

The YP members presented the issues concerning them, the work in activating relations with parliamentary structures of the Russian Federation and European countries.

At the meeting other issues concerning the youth were also discussed.
