First Session of the Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Countries is Held

On March 29 in Saint Petersburg the first session of the Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS countries was held, where Karlen Khachatryan, from the Youth Parliament functioning adjunct to the RA NA Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Youth and Sport and Avetik Harutyunyan, who represent the NKR, took part.

On April 4 in the National during the press conference convened in the National Assembly, presenting the results of the session, has noted that the Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS countries is a platform, where the young people introduce positions and opinions on the issues concerning them.

At the Assembly working issues and programmes were mainly discussed, working groups were created, which will be involved with implementing organizational issues of the Youth Forum designed in the upcoming autumn, as well as making amendments in the statute of the Assembly.

Not only the members of the Youth Parliaments of the CIS countries can take part in the Forum, but also other young people, who have to say something or wish to take part there, too. The venue of holding the forum is still at the stage of discussion.
