On April 23 at the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Police Troops” submitted by the RA Government and presented by the Deputy Head of the RA Police Artur Osikyan was debated.

The Committee endorsed the draft law for including it in the agendas of the session and upcoming four-day sittings.

The Committee debated and approved the decision of the committee on holding parliamentary hearings on April 25 at 2 p.m. on the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Alternative Service.”

On the same day the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Gagik Minasyan in the second reading debated and endorsed the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Budgetary System of the Republic of Armenia” and “On Amending the RA Law on Treasury System” submitted by the RA Government for including it in the draft law of the NA upcoming four-day sittings’ agenda.

The key speaker, RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan said that proposals had not been received from the deputies.

During the sitting the Committee Chairman Gagik Minasyan and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Artsvik Minasyan informed the attendees about the procedure of the fulfillment of the programme “The Administration of Public Finances in the South Caucasus” being implemented by the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) by the Committee.
