Pupils of the Senior School N 170 are the Guests of the Open Lesson Programme

On October 21 a group of pupils from the Senior School N 170, who visited the National Assembly within the framework of the NA Open Lesson Programme, attended the sitting of the parliament, then they met with the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan.

During the meeting Artak Davtyan introduced the schoolchildren to the work of the parliament, its law-making activity, told them about the works of 12 standing committees, detailing the activity of the committee led by him.

Artak Davtyan also answered the pupils’ questions, which were mainly relating to the educational sphere.

Mary Sargsyan was interested in the amendments to be done in the educational system of the senior school. According to Artak Davtyan, the education is under development and the ongoing amendments in the sphere should be aimed at the rise of the education quality. The Committee Chairman noted that the main goal of the amendments was the recognition of the graduate certificates of the general schools in the educational territories of Bologna agreement.

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee has urged the pupils to spend much time for their studies as knowledge is the key of success.
