On December 4 the parliament continued the work passing by voting the bills debated on the previous day and ratifying the agreements. The NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan also put for voting the draft law of the RA National Assembly statement “On Applying the Compulsory Component of the Accumulative Pension System.” Before voting the Head of the RPA faction Galust Sahakyan announced that the ruling political coalition would vote against the draft law. As a result of voting, the draft law of the NA statement was not passed.
The NA deputies welcomed the teachers and pupils of the secondary school of Haytagh community of Armavir Marz, who were in the National Assembly within the framework of the “Open Doors” programme and were following the procedure of the sittings.
The Head of the ANC faction presented the interpellation of the faction, which related to the coordinated corruption.
The RA Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan presented the answer of the government on the interpellation. He said that the RA Government did not share the evaluations and the opinion expressed in the interpellation.
Hrayr Tovmasyan submitted for debate in the first reading the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty.”
The member of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Edmon Marukyan introduced the endorsement of the Committee.
The Head of the Heritage faction Zaruhi Postanjyan presented the viewpoint of the faction on the bill. She informed the attendees that the faction would vote against the submitted bill.
In the final speech the RA Minister of Justice thanked for concerned debates and touched upon the deputies’ interpellations and gave clarifications.
The NA deputies in the second reading debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Profit Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on Interactive Public and Personal Notice” with enclosed package and in the third reading debated the “Administrative Judicial Code” with enclosed package.
According to the established order of the NA Rules of Procedure, at the last Wednesday sitting Q & A session was held between the deputies and the members of the government.
