On December 11 the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov met with the representatives of the NGO Sinjar Yezidi National Union. Welcoming the representatives of the national minorities in the National Assembly Mr Sharmazanov has noted that the centuries-old friendship connects the Armenians and the Yezidis, and he highlights the role of the national minorities, especially, the Yezidi community in the establishment of our state. He has documented that the representatives of the national minorities are the full citizens of the state, and their rights and the national dignity are protected in our country.

Touching upon the expression made by the NA deputy Manvel Badeyan, Boris Tamoyan noted that the Yezidi people’s national dignity was hurt.

Eduard Sharmazanov has noted that Armenia is the Motherland of all national and nationalities living here, and any effort of violation of their rights is to be condemned.
