On December 30 the RA National Assembly President Hovik Abrahamyan visited the RA military bases and defensive positions of Vayots Dzor Region. The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan, the Governor of Vayots Dzor Region Edward Ghazaryan and high-ranking officials accompanied the NA President.

Hovik Abrahamyan met with the officers and soldiers personnel, got acquainted with the organization of the duty in the military bases, their service and everyday conditions. They freely talked with the military servicemen. The NA President thanked the officers and the soldiers for the service, congratulated them and wished all the best on the occasion of the New Year ad Holy Nativity and gave gifts.

The President of the National Assembly also visited the Khachik village, talked with the villagers, and congratulated them on the occasion of the New Year ad Holy Nativity. All the children of the Khachik village received gifts from the NA President.
