At the meetings the main directions of activities of the Defense and Security Committees of Armenia and Montenegro, achievements and challenges in parliamentary supervision, perspectives of bilateral parliamentary cooperation, procurement process in the sphere of defense and security, involvement in international peacekeeping missions of both countries, capacity building measures, the role of NGOs in democratic and civil control in the defense and security sphere, and other issues of mutual concern were discussed. During all the meetings the parties highlighted the necessity of such visits for the exchange of experience and the development of friendly relations.
It should be noted that the visit was implemented by the support of the OSCE Yerevan office.
