On October 12-16, 2014 in Geneva the 131^st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union will be held, where the RA NA Delegation headed by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov will take part.

The parliaments of the member countries of the organization have also presented topical issues. During the 131^st Assembly the New President of the organization will be elected, whose tenure is three years.

In parallel with the Assembly the Union of the General Secretaries of the parliaments will convene its sessions, where the RA NA General Secretary-Chief of Staff Hrayr Tovmasyan will take part.
