On October 20 the Chairperson of the Czech Republic - Armenia Inter-Parliamentary Group of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Robin Bohnisch sent a letter to the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan.
In the letter the Czech deputy has touched upon the barbarous actions carried out towards the Surp Nahatakats/ Saint Martyrs’ Complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Deir Zor by the terrorist organization named "The Islamic State".
In the name of his colleagues and him, strictly condemning what happened, Robin Bohnisch has noted that he is shocked by such intolerable actions towards the Complex dedicated to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
The deputy has expressed his sympathy to the Armenian people and has expressed hope that the international community will succeed as soon as possible to prevent the tendencies of the extension of the terrorist group called "The Islamic State" in the region.
