On December 5 at the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan a working discussion was held. The Committee members discussed the RA draft law “On Registration of the Rights Provided towards Movable Property,” which submitted the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan.

The representative of the government has noted that the concerns voiced during the first reading by the NA deputies had been taken into consideration while editing the draft law.

Mr Mkrtchyan noted that draft law “On Amending the RA Criminal Code” had been removed from this package due to numerous deputies’ concerns, as the real mission of the package was to inform all the citizens on the moveable property in our country.

The international expert Jamie Bowman has deemed expedient to use the law through electronic registration, which will give an opportunity to carry out the process cheaper, quicker and easier. He has noted that in this case the citizen will not appear in protraction, and the banks will serve the citizens quicker.
