On December 24 the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs was on a working visit to Tavush Marz headed by Koryun Nahapetyan.

The Committee members visited military bases and military unit, where they spoke to servicemen, discussed their priority problems, as well as explored military base conditions. The Committee members dined with the servicemen at the military unit.

At the unit club the Chairman of the Committee Koryun Nahapetyan, welcoming the servicemen, highly appreciated their patriotic service. The best servicemen were awarded souvenirs. Presents were distributed to all the servicemen of the military base.

The Committee members had a meeting also with the Heads of border communities. During the meeting the issues on social-economic situation of the communities, improvement of people’s living conditions, and interaction with servicemen were raised. The MPs introduced to the Community Heads the privileges stipulated by the RA law and legal regulations on social assistance from the year of 2015 envisaged for the border communities.
