On March 12 the RA NA Vice President, Head of Armenia-Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia Parliamentary Friendship Group Eduard Sharmazanov visited the town of Haapsalu of Estonia, met with the children of the local orphanage and handed presents to the children. The RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Baltic countries Ara Ayvazyan, spiritual leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the Baltic States, Father Khosrov Stepanyan, Head of the Armenian Community in Estonia Razmik Ivanian and the representatives of the Armenian community were accompanying the NA Vice President.

Eduard Sharmazanov laid a wreath at the cross-stone erected in 2014 to the memory of an Estonian missionary Anna Hedvig Büll, who had devoted her life saving the Armenians of the Near East from the Armenian Genocide.

On the same day the NA Vice President attended the concert “With You, Armenia” dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial in the St John’s Church of Tallinn, where the Vice President of the Parliament of the Republic of Estonia Laine Randjärv and the Minister of Environment of Estonia Mati Raidma were also invited.

The Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov also visited St Gregory Enlightener Armenian Apostolic Church of Tallinn.
