On May 13 at the NA Prosperous Armenia Faction a working meeting-discussion was held with the RA Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan.

Numerous problems concerning the sphere were discussed. The deputies of the PAP Faction raised the issue of subsidizing the agricultural credits and anti-hail stations. The MPs also debated the problems of food security. They proposed the Minister versions of effective management mechanisms of water resources, taking into consideration the gaps existing in the sphere and creating of Milk Importers’ Union. The deputies raised the problems relating to the procurement of agricultural products. The Minister of Agriculture gave clarifications on the considered issues. During the meeting it was decided to sum up the results of the debate, and submit a draft law on the problems demanding legislative settlement.
