On June 18 at Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly the Head of the RA NA Delegation Margarit Yesayan had a working meeting with Bachir Dieye, Adviser on Cooperation and Development of the General Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, who arrived in Armenia to support the implementation of the project “Francophonie Youth Parliament of Armenia.” The Vice President of the French University in Armenia Arayik Navoyan, Lecturer of YSU Faculty of International Relations Varduhi Petrosyan, Lecturer of Yerevan Valery Brusov Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences Vahan Zakaryan, Lecturer of Yerevan State Pedagogical University Astghik Yeremyan and the Chief Specialist of the External Relations Department of the RA NA Staff, Secretary of the RA NA Delegation Edward Badoyan also attended the meeting.

In the course of the meeting organizational issues concerning the formation of the “Francophonie Youth Parliament of Armenia” were discussed. It is designed that the first meeting of the “Francophonie Youth Parliament of Armenia” will be held in October 2015, on the eve of the meeting of the Ministers’ Council of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (IOF), where the participation of the IOF General Secretary Michaëlle Jean and the General Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie Pascal Terras is also scheduled.
