On June 29 the delegation led by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, composed of the NA deputies Tatshat Vardapetyan, Gagik Melikyan and Artsvik Minasyan met with Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.

The NA Deputy Speaker has underlined that the friendly relations of the two countries are anchored on mutual understanding and traditional friendship, noting that the Republic of Armenia highlights the more deepening and expanding of cooperation. In his word, positive dynamics of inter-parliamentary dialogue is noticeable, and the mutual visits, as well as the work being done in the Inter-Parliamentary Committee format contribute to it.

Touching upon the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the cooperation of the member countries Eduard Sharmazanov has underscored that the membership to the EEU will create new opportunities of the development of the relations with the counterparts.

During the meeting the sides also referred to the 70^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Armenian Genocide Centennial, the strategic cooperation of the two countries and the necessity of backing each other at international parliamentary platforms.
