On July 3 the NA President Galust Sahakyan received Mary A. Papazian, President of Southern Connecticut State University. The President of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Ruben Mirzakhanyan accompanied the guest.

Welcoming the guest in the National Assembly, the NA President Galust Sahakyan has noted with satisfaction that the ASPU and Southern Connecticut State University effectively cooperate. As President of the ASPU Governmental Board, Galust Sahakyan expressed hope that the cooperation will more deepen as a result of programs to be jointly implemented. Underlining that the education in our country is a prior direction, Galust Sahakyan presented the peculiarities of the RA educational system, noting that at present work is done in complying the RA higher educational institutions with international educational standards.

Mary A. Papazian, President of Southern Connecticut State University, presented the path, the structure, the programs and the steps to be taken in future by the higher educational institution led by her. She has stressed the agreements reached in developing the cooperation with Armenian State Pedagogical University and in this issue highlighted the efforts and contribution by the ASPU President Ruben Mirzakhanyan.
